Shane Goes to Disney World
Shane is an adorable 5 year old boy from a very close family. He has been diagnosed as a severe haemophiliac, so most physical activities have to be monitored very closely. Shane loves the water and enjoys his time on the boat at the family cottage. He is a definite fan of Buzz Lightyear and really wanted to meet him in person.
Make-A-Wish® Foundation of Eastern Ontario with the help of Velux Canada (sponsor of the 2011 Innovapost Walk / Run) were able to make Shane’s wish come true.
Shane along with his parents and 3 older sisters were flown to Orlando, Florida to spend a week long vacation at Give Kids the World Village. While there, Shane met all the Toy Story characters and enjoyed many of the other theme parks within the Orlando area.
